I often took pictures of what I was working on and of course also of finished instruments. But I was never happy about how the photos turned out.
So I sometimes asked somebody else to take photographs. But a customer who had been waiting (often longer than he or she had expected) wants his custom axe once it’s finished. Therefore I usually have to act quickly which isn’t always the case when you have to hire somebody else.
I knew I would have to do it myself. After reading a couple of books and browsing through some photograph forums I felt ready to give it a go.
It turned out better than I expected! So I proudly present my own photographs of my own instruments: Two thirds of the LPJ pictures and all of the ukulele pictures were made by me.
